The REDARC 12A Five-Circuit Compact Trailer Lighting Reducer provides a cost-effective solution for towing a 12V trailer behind a 12V truck, with additional reversing-lamp circuit. The 12V circuits can light brake, tail, and indicators on a trailer when towed behind a 24V vehicle. The 12V RMS signal the VRL generates is suitable for use with multiple trailer applications with a large amount of incandescent lamps and LEDs. It is constructed from the latest surface-mount technology and is suitable for installations exposed to the elements (e.g. on the chassis rail). REDARC Trailer Lighting Reducers operate from a nominal 24DV electrical system, providing four 12V RMS output circuits for trailer lighting - the 'REV' models have an additional reversing-lamp circuit. They feature small, light construction, are 95% efficient, short-circuit protection, and don't interfere with radio signals.
