The REDARC Oil Pressure Sensor a 150PSI oil pressure sensor with a 1/8" NPT thread, designed to be connected to REDARC Gauges via the supplied wiring harness. The sensor is designed to monitor oil pressure inside your engine, alerting you if it drops below a certain level.
The oil in your engine helps to keep your pistons, cylinders, and bearings lubricated, which helps extend their longevity and improve their performance. Your oil also helps to keep the temperature in your engine down, provided it is appropriately pressurised. Consequently this sensor is a must have for monitoring the health of your system, especially if you drive at continuous high speeds, over difficult terrain, or when towing heavy loads.
Another important reason to keep an eye on your oil levels is that low oil pressure can be an indicator of low oil levels, as well as of diluted or worn out oil or worn engine bearings, and a number of other issues.
