The REDARC 12V Trailer Brake Controller is designed to ensure that your trailer behaves just how you expect it to whenever you apply the brakes in your vehicle. Perfect for trailers, caravans, boat trailers, campers, and more, this must-have device even allows you to apply the trailer's brakes independently of the towing vehicle's brakes, giving you more control and helping to eliminate problems like sway.
Take advantage of the controller's LED indicator (or dashboard panel, depending on installation type), which glows green whenever you plug in a trailer with electric brakes. This added feature will ensure that you never take off without connecting your trailer properly, adding yet another level of confidence. When you apply the brakes - either via the foot brake or the manual button on the controller - the LED display will change from green to red. The darkness of the shade of red displayed indicates the degree to which you are applying the brakes. This can also be managed using the adjustment knob, which sets the level of breaking whether you're using the button or foot brake.
