Battery Tray for Auto/Manual Patrol GQ Diesel TD42, 4.2 Litre Diesel & TBS42S, 4.2 Litre Petrol with Carburettor (1989-1997)

Custom-made for the Nissan GQ Patrol, the HDBT150 is designed and packaged for direct fitment to your vehicle, with minimal installation steps as opposed its non-vehicle-specific counterparts. To make the process even easier for you, your battery tray will come as a complete kit, with all the necessary mounting hardware (bolts, washers, additional brackets, plates, and hold-down clamps), for hassle-free, professional installation! Your new Toyota battery tray is made to last and perform, contrusted from heavy-duty 2mm dust, rust, and corrosion-resistant passivated zinc-coated steel.

Projecta are leading the industry with their superior aftermarket heavy-duty dual battery trays, which are the ultimate solution to safely, effectively, and securely mounting an auxiliary battery to a vehicle's engine bay. Engineered to fit specific vehicle types - Ford, Holden, Isuzu, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, and Toyota - the result is a battery tray that can be easily installed without having to modify the tray or part of the vehicle. However, if a tray for your specific vehicle is not available, or you're after a universal tray, Projecta have those covered, too!

FITMENT INSTRUCTIONS
1. Make sure that the vehicle is stationary, the engine is switched off and cool. Disconnect the negative battery terminal from the main battery.
2. Remove the 2xM6 bolts that secure the washer bottle to the inner guard. Place the tray in position against the guard, with the washer bottle remaining in the same place. Note: If this cradle is going to be fitted to TB42S Carburettor Patrol the pre cleaner will need to be moved.
3. Replace the M6 bolts that were removed, bolting the arms of the tray and the washer bottle to the inner guard.
4. Use 2 x M6 Countersunk bolts tighten into the base of the tray into the guard. Use existing taped holes.
5. The remaining countersunk hole in the base of the tray, needs the guard drilled with a 6mm hole.
6. Fit M6 countersunk bolt through the hole with body Washer and nut on the underside of the guard.
7. Fit the battery and J bolts to the tray, then fit the special top mount. Use the existing bolt on the top guard on the vehicle to secure the special top mount. Tighten the wing nuts on the J bolts.
8. Reconnect the negative battery terminal to the main starter battery or install the desired Dual Battery System. Before closing the bonnet make sure the battery, tray and J bolts do not hit the bonnet.
