The Narva 12 Pin Flat Trailer Socket features a Reed Switch for use on normally closed circuits and is perfect for use on vehicles with reversing sensors. It suits all vehicles with normally-closed circuits, such as Holden, Hyandai, and aftermarket parking aids. The in-built Reed Switch works by deactivating the reverse sensor while the trailer is connected. This is beneficial as it prevents continual beeping from the sensors that detect that the trailor is closeby. The Reed Switch disconnects the reverse sensor once the socket lid is open for plug connection.
