The Oxygen Sensor is mounted in the exhaust manifold and measures the amount of unburned oxygen in the exhaust gas. This information is then used by the ECU to regulate the air-fuel ratio in the engine. A faulty Oxygen Sensor will result in issues such as an incorrect air-fuel ratio, poor fuel economy, increased emissions and overheated components.
