Designed and optimised for vehicle's with start/stop technology, the CT5 Start/Stop CTEK Battery Charger and Mantainer lets you take advantage of all the benefits of this eco-friendly tech without placing undue stress on your battery.
Start/stop systems are intended to be environmentally conscious, automatically shutting down the engine during idling, then restarting again when it's time to move. This helps you cut down on the amount of emissions you produce and the amount of fuel you consume. The other side of the coin is that the constant stopping and starting can place a high level of strain on the battery. This charger is designed to reduce that level of strain by keeping it fully charged, allowing you to take full benefit of your stop/start vehicle.
If you typically make short journeys, the CT5 can be connected once a month to help keep your battery in prime condition. And if you're leaving your vehicle at home while you head off on a holiday, leave the automatic charger connected to the battery to ensure that your vehicle is ready to roll when you return.
